Morning Service at the Emmanuel Church in Baurci

On Sunday July 12, 2015, day before our first kid’s camp, our team visited the local church in the town of Baurci. Like all the services before this, God blessed us once again and we could not be happier. It is true what they say, that Jesus made us brothers and sisters in Gods’ family, because no matter where you are, if you are in the presence of fellow Christians, you feel like you are at home. That is how our group felt during this morning service; everyone was so talkative as if we knew each other.

Our program for this service was the same as the other services but something felt different about this particular. It seemed as if we sang our songs better with more heart, the overall service was wonderful.

During the service, our team was blessed with a word from God through the Holy Spirit, “My word is yes or no says the Lord. My commandment is great. Hold onto eternal life and truth. Carry the torch of faith, for there is a great work that lies before you, my blessings rest upon you because my care is great and my support is great. Strive to serve with truth, glazing upon the author and the finisher of faith, for your works are not in vain says the Lord. Trust, rely and I will carry you to the end. Amen.”

It is so amazing to receive a word from the Lord and see it take place before you, not only with our team but also for those around us. It is comforting to know that if we only rely on God to do His work through us then it will come to completion in ways we least expect it.
