On Wednesday, July 8, 2015, our team spent the day
exploring Kishinev and enjoyed some of the city life in Moldova. We were able
to visit a popular park, enjoy some local foods and even visit the mall (which
is surprisingly called Malldova, pretty funny). The team had a great time in
the city and all being together again.
In the evening, we were blessed with the opportunity to
visit a local Russian church called the Ark of Salvation, who’s former Pastor
was Mikhail Chizh. We did not know what to expect from the service but we need
God was going to not only bless us but the members of that church as well. The
day before, on Tuesday, part of our team in Baurchi went to a prayer and there
was a word from God to our team; “the group from a distant place, I will bless
you and bless those that you will serve.’ Here that word from God got the team
fired up and even more eager to serve Him.
From the beginning of the opening prayer to the last
prayer, God abundantly blessed the service. God was definitely present in that
building and Holy Spirit was doing its work. After the first sermon, God
touched hearts and people were praying wholehearted with tears in their eyes
and joy in their soul. Every person who left that night service received a
blessing from God.
After the service, we were fed and had time to socialize
and get to know the youth of that church. Before we left, we had a prayer for
one of our team members and during that prayer, God spoke a word to our team saying “to those that are
from far away, keep your ways pure and your heart clean and I will pour out a
fountain of blessings into your life and your plans.”
It is wonderful to see and experience what God is already
doing with our team and this is only the beginning of our trip. God is teaching
us to rely on Him more with each passing day and when we rely on the Lord, our
ways are blessed.

Camp Nehemiah
