Dear Brothers, Sisters, Family, Friends, all our Readers,
This morning I woke up to VOXER messaging these new pictures from Brothers Sergey and Michael. Below are the pictures of the First Day of Camp / opening day.
The children all were brought by their parents/ guardians. The parents ask questions if they have any, to the director/ coordinator/ pastor, nurse, give last minute notes, bring doctors checklist, and then they leave (for 7 days). With excitement, the children meet their teachers, take their bags to their rooms, and meet their group mates.
At the camp, they will learn about God, learn Bible stories & Golden verses, pray, sing, chat with eachother. Everyday they will have church service (morning & evening), morning work outs, group activities, Bible lessons. Throughout the day they will have healthy fresh cooked meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Each child has undivided attention & supervision 24/7 supervised by: Director, Pastor, Nurse, and Security.
With all that they get to do throughout the day, at the end of the day each child is happy to be in a safe environment, surrounded by people who love them, who pray for them, inspire them, teach them, and show them warm caring love. At the end of the week, each child will go to their homes with many memories, prayer buddies, gifts, and most importantly- the knowledge of Jesus Christ by mind and heart.
As we read these stories, and the mission goals, we (at home) shall not let "our" hands fall. We shall be on our knees pleading for God to use each of these missionary workers to serve EACH INDIVIDUAL CHILD as a CHILD OF GOD, to have an impact on their little hearts, minds, and souls. Jesus' teaching was for us Christians to go and preach His word to all nations and to the ends of the earth, that means to put God #1 in your priorities. He said he'll make us "fishers of men" and yet we live for ourselves. Some say their kids have to grow up and then they'll serve God, while others say they're too old to go serve God, and others say they have to finish their career, while others say they don't have the funds to go anywhere. So who says exactly when the right time is for YOU to drop and go, or drop and do? If the little voice inside of us does not say "Lord, here I am, send me", then what makes us think that God doesn't have it in His plan to use you NOW? I know this was a lot to read, but it's just 'Food for Thought'.
At the conclusion of todays post, i'd like to Thank You for checking-in, reading-up, and looking at pictures. I also ask you to keep the entire missionary group in your daily prayers (at least this week while working with the children). This is the least WE can do. And the Lord will grant us in Heaven. May the Lord be with you and your family.
